Our bar shaped lures ranging from 1/2oz-3.5oz are designed to have the most amount of surface action with the least amount of effort.  This can definitely be an advantage when throwing the heavier lures. The smaller sizes 1/2oz-1.5oz are also popular for trolling behind kayaks, paddle boards, and one man canoes.
